Refunds and Returns

At  Lawsons 3D prints we take pride in creating high-quality 3D printed products and personalised items. Due to the nature of custom manufacturing and made-to-order products, our returns and refund policy differs slightly from standard retail policies.

1. Custom & Personalised Items

All personalised, customised, or made-to-order products are non-refundable and non-returnable unless:

  • The item arrives damaged
  • The item is defective
  • We made an error with your order
  • The item differs significantly from the approved design or description

This includes:

  • Custom text or names
  • Bespoke dimensions or designs
  • Customer-supplied files or models
  • Special colour or material requests

Please ensure all spelling, measurements, and design approvals are correct before placing your order.

2. Standard (Non-Personalised) Items

For non-custom products, returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery provided that:

  • The item is unused and in original condition
  • The item is returned in original packaging
  • Proof of purchase is provided

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

3. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the item and packaging

Once reviewed, we may offer:

  • A replacement
  • A repair
  • A partial refund
  • A full refund

We reserve the right to request the item be returned before issuing a refund or replacement.

4. 3D Printing Disclaimer

Due to the nature of 3D printing, slight variations may occur, including:

  • Minor layer lines
  • Small surface imperfections
  • Slight colour differences
  • Minor dimensional tolerances

These are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and are not considered defects unless they affect functionality.

5. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before production has started.

Once printing or production begins, cancellation requests may be denied or subject to a partial fee to cover materials and labour already used.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after approval.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
